The V4L2 Interface

The ESPROS kernel modules are primarily accessed through the Video4Linux2 (V4L2) framework.

This interface provides standardized access to image capture, streaming, and device control. The driver integrates into the Linux media subsystem and exposes a V4L2 sub-device for control and a video node for frame streaming.

The device nodes are typically available at:

/run/epc670/subdev (controls)
/run/epc670/video (frame streaming)

Warning

Device node paths may vary depending on the platform integration and system configuration.
